Tour Description
This sunrise desert safari takes you from Abu Dhabi into the Al Khatim Desert, timed so you reach the dunes just as the sun comes up. You are collected while it is still dark from your hotel, a mall, the cruise terminal or the airport, and driven to the desert in a 4x4 Land Cruiser.
You watch the sunrise from the dunes with Arabic coffee and dates, in soft light and cooler air. After sunrise, your licensed driver takes you dune bashing: fast driving up and down steep dunes in a roll-cage vehicle. If you prefer a gentler drive, choose the version without dune bashing.
Next come sandboarding, a short camel ride, a visit to the camel farm and time at the Bedouin camp, where you can experience Emirati hospitality. Breakfast at the camp is an optional extra arranged when you book, and you can also add quad biking, a dune buggy or a longer camel trek.
You are back at your pickup point about 4–5 hours after you leave, so the rest of the day stays free. The standard tour runs with a minimum of 3 guests, and smaller groups can book a private 4x4.

The sunrise safari is a quiet, cooler 4 to 5 hour morning trip built around the sunrise, dune bashing, sandboarding and a camel ride. The evening safari starts in the afternoon and runs into the night with sunset, BBQ dinner and camp entertainment.
