Getting a UAE Visit visa

How to apply for a UAE visa

STEP 1

Submit necessary Documents

Applicants should submit the necessary documents at our office or send it through email. If the documents are properly compiled we will submit it to the relevant authorities for processing. The compulsory documents are:

  • Clear colour copy of your passport (taken from a scanner)

  • Applicant’s photo in white background

  • Residence visa page of sponsor or referee

STEP 2

Make the Payment

You can choose to settle the payment by visiting our office or through an online transaction.

STEP 3

UAE Visit Visa issued

You will get your new visa to your WhatsApp or email within 2 to 4 business days after the payment has been settled.

What are the required documents?

The standard documents you need to submit for a UAE visit visa are:

  • A colour copy of your passport first and last pages preferably taken from a scanner. The passport should be valid and have a validity period of atleast 6 months from the date of visa request.

  • A recent colour photograph taken in a white background. If you wear glasses please remove them while taking the photo

There are some extra documents that may be required depending on your age and nationality.

  • Children: Birth certificate copy if father’s or mother’s names are not mentioned in the chid’s passport.

  • Pakistani Nationals : National ID card front & back and passport signature page.

Age Limit

If you are considering a solo visit to UAE and are wondering about the age limit to obtain a UAE visit visa this paragraph will answer your questions.

If you want to stay longer in the UAE the only option is to apply for a visa extension. The easiest option is the without exit extension that is implemented by the UAE government. Applicants can extend their visa at the comfort of their hotel room without leaving UAE. Steps of extending a UAE visit visa are:

  • STEP 1: Visit a travel firm that has permission to issue this type of visa.

  • STEP 2: Send them the necessary documents and make the payment.

  • STEP 3: The new application will be processed and then the status change will be completed according to the UID.

180 day visit eligibility

This multiple-entry visa is issued free of charge to individuals holding Mexican passports. The visa is valid for 6 months from the date of issue and permits a stay duration of 180 days. This 180 days need to be utilized within a span of 6 months.

6 months Visit Visa

The 6 months UAE Visit visa was introduced by the UAE Government on July 2019 to encourage brilliant students, entrepreneurs, investors, and outstanding professionals to stay longer in the UAE and consider long-term residency. No information was divulged about the price of a 6 month UAE Visit Visa. A strict committee of the UAE authority will carefully examine each application before accepting.

Visitors who don't fit into any of the categories specified above are not eligible to apply for a 6 month visit visa directly. Instead, they should contact a local tour operator like us, as we can utilize visa extensions without exit to enable you to stay in the UAE for six months. If you plan to do this before entering UAE we will apply for a 90-day visit visa. We will re-apply for a new 90-day UAE visit visa without exit during the 10 day grace period of the first visa. You will have a total of 200 days to stay in the UAE with these two visas. The visa may be extended repeatedly with or without an exit, as desired by the holder.

What you can and cannot do on a UAE visit visa

We all know that saying “when in Rome do like the Romans”. Same applies to when in the UAE. Here are a list of things you can and cannot do when in the UAE.

What can you do?

  • You can travel to the UAE to attend a conference anywhere in the UAE, engage in specific tourist activities like skydiving while vacationing, spending time with loved ones in any emirate, etc.

  • You are allowed to apply for your residence visa while in the country and attend interviews with potential employers.

  • You can use a visit visa to conduct preliminary research before opening a business or purchasing property in the United Arab Emirates.

What You Cannot Do?

  • Work paid or unpaid as a self-employed individual or for a UAE company.

  • Operate professional gangs of beggars or hire individuals from outside the nation to work as beggars. Doing so carries a minimum fine of AED 100,000 and a jail sentence of at least six months. AED 5,000 in fines and up to three months in jail are the consequences for anyone found begging in the United Arab Emirates, according to Federal Law No. 9 of 2018 on Anti-Begging.

  • Engage in any illegal activity, such as prostitution, child trafficking, or smuggling.

  • Operate a business or open a bank account. You must obtain your legal residence visa and Emirates ID in order to operate a business or open a bank account while you are in the country.

Terms & Conditions

  • All payments must be made upfront when applying for a visa, and the visa application fees paid to the UAE's immigration department are non-refundable.
  • An average visa would take 2-3 days to process. Due to stringent guidelines established by the UAE's immigration department, this could change and take up to 10-15 days in certain circumstances. Please keep in mind that we must strictly adhere to the laws and that we cannot interfere with them.
  • Any request for a visa may be approved or denied by the UAE's immigration department.
  • Do not book your flights until you have received notification of the approval or until you have received confirmation of your visa. You are advised to book your tickets after your visa has been issued.
  • The single entry visa permits only one visit to the UAE and only has 60 days of validity from the date of visa issued.
  • Flight bookings made in the final days of a visa's validity would be subject to additional fees.

Frequently Asked Questions

The processing fees for UAE visas are all non-refundable. Even those who were unable to travel due to COVID 19 but had valid visas for March 2020 have not been reimbursed. There are no refunds available for any processed visas from the GDRFA.
You must print your visa (a physical copy is required) and present it at airport security checkpoints or UAE border crossing points.
This refers to staying in the UAE after your visa has expired. Travelers are advised to leave the country as soon as possible and at least one day before their visas expires.
You will be fined 350 AED for the first day and 100 AED for each additional day you overstayed your visit visa.
While leaving the country on your current visa, you can pay the fee at the immigration counter in the airport.
