How to apply for a UAE visa

STEP 1

You will get your new visa to your WhatsApp or email within 2 to 4 business days after the payment has been settled.

What are the required documents?

The standard documents you need to submit for a UAE visit visa are:

• A colour copy of your passport first and last pages preferably taken from a scanner. The passport should be valid and have a validity period of atleast 6 months from the date of visa request.

• A recent colour photograph taken in a white background. If you wear glasses please remove them while taking the photo

There are some extra documents that may be required depending on your age and nationality.

• Children: Birth certificate copy if father’s or mother’s names are not mentioned in the chid’s passport.

Extending UAE Visit Visa

If you want to stay longer in the UAE the only option is to apply for a visa extension. The easiest option is the without exit extension that is implemented by the UAE government. Applicants can extend their visa at the comfort of their hotel room without leaving UAE. Steps of extending a UAE visit visa are:

• STEP 1: Visit a travel firm that has permission to issue this type of visa.

• STEP 2: Send them the necessary documents and make the payment.

• STEP 3: The new application will be processed and then the status change will be completed according to the UID.

• STEP 4: Recieve a copy of your new visa and status change.

• STEP 5: Your visa has been extended for the chosen duration(30 days or 60 days).

UAE visa on arrival

30 day visit eligibility

This single-entry visa is issued free of charge and permits a stay duration of 30 days with a 10 day grace period. This visa can be extended once for a fee. This visa is issued for citizens from any of the 19 countries mentioned beow:

60 day visit eligibility

This multiple-entry visa has a validity period of 6 months from the date of issue and is given for citizens from any of the 48 countries mentioned below. The permitted duration of stay with this visa is 90 days which has to be used up in 6 months. There is no grace period for this visa.

180 day visit eligibility

This multiple-entry visa is issued free of charge to individuals holding Mexican passports. The visa is valid for 6 months from the date of issue and permits a stay duration of 180 days. This 180 days need to be utilized within a span of 6 months.

6 months Visit Visa

The 6 months UAE Visit visa was introduced by the UAE Government on July 2019 to encourage brilliant students, entrepreneurs, investors, and outstanding professionals to stay longer in the UAE and consider long-term residency. No information was divulged about the price of a 6 month UAE Visit Visa. A strict committee of the UAE authority will carefully examine each application before accepting.

What you can and cannot do on a UAE visit visa

We all know that saying “when in Rome do like the Romans”. Same applies to when in the UAE. Here are a list of things you can and cannot do when in the UAE.

What can you do?

• You can travel to the UAE to attend a conference anywhere in the UAE, engage in specific tourist activities like skydiving while vacationing, spending time with loved ones in any emirate, etc.

• You are allowed to apply for your residence visa while in the country and attend interviews with potential employers.

• You can use a visit visa to conduct preliminary research before opening a business or purchasing property in the United Arab Emirates.

What You Cannot Do?

• Work paid or unpaid as a self-employed individual or for a UAE company.

• Operate professional gangs of beggars or hire individuals from outside the nation to work as beggars. Doing so carries a minimum fine of AED 100,000 and a jail sentence of at least six months. AED 5,000 in fines and up to three months in jail are the consequences for anyone found begging in the United Arab Emirates, according to Federal Law No. 9 of 2018 on Anti-Begging.

• Engage in any illegal activity, such as prostitution, child trafficking, or smuggling.

• Operate a business or open a bank account. You must obtain your legal residence visa and Emirates ID in order to operate a business or open a bank account while you are in the country.
